Resurrection Sunday

Resurrection Sunday
He is Risen! Today we celebrate the promise kept by Scriptures when Jesus was resurrected to His glorious new body, conquering death once and for all and claiming victory over sin's grip on mankind. Today, Gary brings not just a moving, but also a historical based message as we take a look at some of the evidences of His resurrection. Many wonder what happened after He left, and today we take a look at what changed in those closest to Jesus, and how they kept the faith. Jesus died for all...Jesus died for you. The most important thing is understanding that love, and accepting the payment for your wrongdoings. If you have, then you have a reason to celebrate "Resurrection Sunday"! Our building was originally constructed in 1861 and is the oldest protestant church building in continuous use in our county. Many people have come and gone throughout the generations, but our goal will always remain: To Serve Jesus only, and learn from His Living Word, the Scriptures. Our small church body are all admittedly sinners, that openly strive to improve our walk daily, but also understand that we are Redeemed by the shed blood of Christ Jesus and declared innocent in God’s eyes due to Grace Alone! There is no act of baptism, charity or observation of communion that deems us worthy. No amount of following the law of Moses, or the ever-popular observation of legalism in many churches today that will save us. That is us believing in ourselves, rather than what Christ did for us completely. If you struggle with understanding the concept of salvation or are plagued by false teachings of following traditions rather than Christ alone, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Good Friday: When Heaven Tore the Veil

Good Friday: When Heaven Tore the Veil
Good Friday. The remembrance of one of the darkest days in history, and yet a day that saw one of the greatest triumphs at the same time. When Jesus drew His last breath at His crucifixion, something unprecedented happened that many have never understood. In this powerful message, we explore the moment Jesus died… and what happened that changed history. The temple veil was torn. This was no ordinary event: it was a divine declaration. The barrier between God and man was removed, not by human effort, but by the finished work of Christ. Discover the deep meaning behind the torn veil, what it reveals about access to God, and how this moment forever changed our relationship with Him as we explore "When Heaven Tore the Veil" High Forest Community Church www.highforestchurch.com Recorded: 4/3/26 For more information on how you can be certain of having eternal life, please contact us at info@highforestchurch.com Our other links: Facebook: facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552868390256&mibextid=JRoKGi YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@highforestcommunitychurch Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/5l3baJZMvOJLYutaMDoVnv Apple Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/hfcc-christ-centered-hope-for-todays-world/id1753425592?i=1000673790907 Rumble: https://rumble.com/user/HighForestChurch We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. The Triumphal Entry
32:15
The Triumphal Entry
It’s Palm Sunday, and today we remember Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem: welcomed as a King by crowds who sang, celebrated, and laid down the equivalent of a red carpet before their Messiah. But while the people rejoiced, the religious leaders were anything but pleased. Why? Today, Gary Froiland returns to unpack this powerful moment in history. And as we look closer, we find that even in the middle of the celebration, Jesus wept over Jerusalem, knowing what lay ahead: not only for Himself, but for the nation of Israel as well. Grab your Bible, get your notepad ready, and join us as Gary takes us back to “The Triumphal Entry.” High Forest Community Church www.highforestchurch.com Recorded: 3/29/26 For more information on how you can be certain of having eternal life, please contact us at info@highforestchurch.com Our other links: Facebook: facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552868390256&mibextid=JRoKGi YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@highforestcommunitychurch Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/5l3baJZMvOJLYutaMDoVnv Apple Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/hfcc-christ-centered-hope-for-todays-world/id1753425592?i=1000673790907 Rumble: https://rumble.com/user/HighForestChurch We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Keeping in Step with Jesus
39:04
Keeping in Step with Jesus
Jim concludes our Walk with Jesus journey to Jerusalem as we approach His betrayal and sacrifice. In Mark 10:32 to 45, we see yet another example of the disciples missing the heart of what Jesus was teaching. James and John seek to claim a promise from Christ, but they do so through a worldly lens: one focused on position, status, and glory rather than humility, suffering, and service. As Jesus continues His walk toward the cross, the contrast becomes clear. Along the way, He encounters blindness in more ways than one: not only physical blindness, but spiritual blindness as well. In this message, Jim brings these truths together with practical applications that challenge us to examine our own hearts and ask whether we are truly Keeping in Step with Jesus.
