Praying Like Jesus
30:49
Praying Like Jesus
All throughout Scripture, we see inspiring prayers of faith, praise, confidence and even anguish. WE serve a God that delights in hearing and answering our prayers, but that does beg the question: How should we pray"? John Grams takes the pulpit today and explores this question by zeroing in on one of the defining prayers recorded in the Gospels: The Prayer at Gethsemane. Here we are painted a scene taking place before the betrayal, abandonment and eventual torture and death of Jesus, and yet as we look at His communication to the Father in this dark time, we can glean some insights that can help shape our prayer life and relationship with Him as well. You are sure to be encouraged as we explore "Praying Like Jesus" High Forest Community Church www.highforestchurch.com Recorded: 3/8/26 For more information on how you can be certain of having eternal life, please contact us at info@highforestchurch.com Our other links: Facebook: facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552868390256&mibextid=JRoKGi YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@highforestcommunitychurch Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/5l3baJZMvOJLYutaMDoVnv Apple Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/hfcc-christ-centered-hope-for-todays-world/id1753425592?i=1000673790907 Rumble: https://rumble.com/user/HighForestChurch We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Our building was originally constructed in 1861 and is the oldest protestant church building in continuous use in our county. Many people have come and gone throughout the generations, but our goal will always remain: To Serve Jesus only, and learn from His Living Word, the Scriptures. Our small church body are all admittedly sinners, that openly strive to improve our walk daily, but also understand that we are Redeemed by the shed blood of Christ Jesus and declared innocent in God’s eyes due to Grace Alone! There is no act of baptism, charity or observation of communion that deems us worthy. No amount of following the law of Moses, or the ever-popular observation of legalism in many churches today that will save us. That is us believing in ourselves, rather than what Christ did for us completely. If you struggle with understanding the concept of salvation or are plagued by false teachings of following traditions rather than Christ alone, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We would love to help! Please watch our archive of messages on a variety of topics. Holiness in the Everyday

Holiness in the Everyday
Today, Donn Schroeder returns as he takes us into the Old Testament book of Ruth, exploring the powerful story of Naomi and her faithful daughter-in-law, Ruth. After years in a foreign land marked by loss and heartbreak, these two widows return to Bethlehem empty, poor, and uncertain of what lies ahead. To Naomi, it feels as though God has withheld His blessing. She even declares that the Lord has dealt bitterly with her. Yet Scripture often reveals a profound truth: when God seems silent, He may be doing His most extraordinary work behind the scenes. In what appears to be a simple, everyday act of provision, a mysterious “kinsman-redeemer” enters the story. His arrival does more than restore hope to two grieving widows. It alters the trajectory of history itself. Join us as we walk through the book of Ruth and discover what it means to pursue “Holiness in the Everyday.” High Forest Community Church www.highforestchurch.com Recorded: 3/1/26 For more information on how you can be certain of having eternal life, please contact us at info@highforestchurch.com Our other links: Facebook: facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552868390256&mibextid=JRoKGi YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@highforestcommunitychurch Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/5l3baJZMvOJLYutaMDoVnv Apple Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/hfcc-christ-centered-hope-for-todays-world/id1753425592?i=1000673790907 Rumble: https://rumble.com/user/HighForestChurch We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Road of Life
Life is a Highway... The popular song holds true in many ways. Life is like a journey. A road. And along the way as in real life driving, there are signs we encounter. Some of warning, some of direction, and others to guide us. But each serves a purpose. Gary Froiland returns today focusing on this exact thing. He takes us through the various road signs we will face, and applies Biblical principles to each one. God gave us His living Word to guide and direct us, and Gary brings that to life in the "Road of Life" High Forest Community Church www.highforestchurch.com Recorded: 2/22/26 For more information on how you can be certain of having eternal life, please contact us at info@highforestchurch.com Our other links: Facebook: facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552868390256&mibextid=JRoKGi YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@highforestcommunitychurch Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/5l3baJZMvOJLYutaMDoVnv Apple Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/hfcc-christ-centered-hope-for-todays-world/id1753425592?i=1000673790907 Rumble: https://rumble.com/user/HighForestChurch We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota.  What We Believe

We believe that Jesus Christ died on a cross for man's sin. He took the punishment of God's wrath which we deserved. He took our place. Jesus rose and is alive, seated at the right hand of God. Anyone who repents and believes in what Jesus did for them will be declared righteous and are promised eternal life.
